Today’s Goal: To reVisit, reVise, rePackage

This post has NOT been viewed by a proof reader or editor.

This year’s goal theme is……”reCreate, UPdate and Investigate”. My main goal is to reNew, rePlenish, reWrite, reExamine, reVisit, reVise, rePackage. I’m not focusing on anything new. I’m focusing on where I am, what I already have and what I’ve already done.  I’m going to be revisiting, revising, repackaging and rewriting all my projects that are collecting dust. It’s a new day…with the old stuff. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

Today, I worked on my CD Baby account (from 2000ish). I updated my book from 2001. I also looked at some of my old poetry cards.

I developed some routines that were very helpful to my family and I. One of the routines I incorporated is “Thankful Thursday”. On “Thankful Thursday”, I try to remain in the spirit of gratitude and thankfulness all day.

Today I am thankful for:

  • My Family
  • My Job
  • My Husband
  • My Kids
  • My Life
  • My Earning Potential
  • And so much more

In January, I purchased the Organize in 5 2012 Diary  for my husband, but I’ve been using it for myself. Today’s task was to organize my scarves, hats and gloves. I also decided to clean my room, wash clothes and clean out my closet. lol!

Today’s Goal: To clean my office (at least phase #1)

How many times have you heard that “cleanliness is next to Godliness”? Well, I can’t be certain that cleaning my office will get me closer to God, but I decided to clean it anyway. In January, I purchased the Organize in 5 2012 Diary  for my husband, but I’ve been using it for myself. Today’s task was to clean the freezer, but since I spent most of the day at the office, it seemed to be the next best thing.

Today is “Throw it out Thursday”. “Throw it out Thursday” is a weekly routine I added to my schedule back in 2010.

Each Thursday, I pick a room or project to work on.  I go through my cabinets, refrigerator, bathrooms and car. I try to throw away at least one full bag of unwanted and unused items.  So far, I’ve gotten rid on three bags of old clothes and two bags of trash.

I also try to get rid of, or consolidate my old files on my computer.

Don’t forget. If it’s Thursday…Throw it Out!

Each year, my family and I spend quality time together on Valentine’s Day. We celebrate together by having a nice family dinner.

We also exchange hand made Valentine’s and share them with each other. This year we were all TIRED! It took us three hours just to get home. When we got home, we all went to sleep.

So today, we celebrated by sharing dessert after dinner. It was short and sweet.

Next year, I gotta step up my game!

“Without promotion something terrible happens… Nothing!”

Today’s Goal: To get my journal on lulu and stash it on Mistash

Today, was the first day of the release of my new journal.  I spent most of the day working on finding new ways to promote it. I worked on a future marketing plan.  I also worked on some paperwork for our future nonprofit. When it was all done…. I went to Mistash and listed it as a “GOT”. http://ow.ly/933O0

Our most basic instinct is not for survival but for family.  Most of us would give our own life for the survival of a family member, yet we lead our daily life too often as if we take our family for granted. ~Paul Pearshall

Today’s Goal: To spend time with my family

Each Friday, my family and I attempt to have some dedicated time to spend together. Depending on our budget, we usually pick a restaurant, movie, or just cook a special meal at home. Today, we extended our family night. My sister-in love made burritos. We had cake and punch and played many hours of the Wii.

Another awesome night!

Happy Friday! T.G.F.F…. Thank God For Family!
